Ryazansky noted that the introduction of electronic labor paper books is "timely and modern."

“To be honest, such a law has long been brewing ... We are in favor of having the opportunity to record the entire labor history on electronic media. Who wants to receive an extract on paper - please, this can always be done, ”the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, the State Duma adopted a law introducing electronic labor books in Russia in 2020.

According to the initiative, from 2021, employers will keep on paper hard copies of labor books of only those workers who by the end of 2020 will write a statement.

The rest of the books will be handed out, and all new information will be stored electronically.
