Urging the interference of a foreign government to take advantage of its re-election, Donald Trump abused his power: it is the conclusion of the report of the House intelligence commission in the impeachment investigation against the president. The evidence of his misconduct is "overwhelming".

According to the report, the US president "urged the interference of a foreign government, that of Ukraine, to take advantage of his re-election". Not only that: Trump has obstructed the impeachment investigation.

In the afternoon, during a bilateral meeting during the NATO summit in London, the US president called Adam Schiff, head of the commission, "a mad and sick person".

Trump: impeachment is unpatriotic buffalo
Also from London, Donald Trump then returned to dismiss as "unpatriotic" the procedure initiated in the US House of Representatives to try to get his impeachment. "I think what the Democrats staged is very unpatriotic," a "bad thing for our country," the president said on the sidelines of a meeting with Jens Stoltenberg, "I don't think about it at all," he added, commenting on the accusations against him, saying he is convinced that the same applies to "many of the allied leaders".
