French international Luka Karabatic will be out of action for six weeks due to a dislocation of the right-hand middle finger, the Paris SG announced on Tuesday, and is uncertain for the Euro-2020 handball (9-26 January ).

In the Paris defeat against Barcelona (35-32) in the Champions League on Sunday, Luka Karabatic suffered a dislocation of the middle finger of the right hand.

"The tests performed by the player in recent hours have revealed a tendon rupture requiring a repair surgery, which was scheduled for the weekend," said the PSG in a statement.

The pivot of the Blues will be unavailable "about six weeks", added the club of the capital.

Double world champion (2015, 2017) and European champion (2014) with the French team, Luka Karabatic is uncertain for the Euro-2020, which starts on January 9 in Austria, Norway and Sweden.

The list for the preparation of the Blues will be communicated next week by the coach Didier Dinart, while the final list for the Euro-2020 should be announced on January 6, after the two preparation matches on January 3 and 5.
