England will face Austria and Romania in June in preparatory matches for Euro-2020, the British federation announced on Tuesday.

The "Three Lions" will go to Vienna on June 2 before receiving Romania on June 7, in a stadium that remains to be designated, the statement said.

At the Euro, England, seeded and host of Group D, will face Wembley Croatia who beat her in the semifinals of the last World Cup, the Czech Republic, which was in its qualifying group, and the team coming out of track C of the dams, ie Scotland, Norway, Serbia or Israel.

Austria is part of Group C with Ukraine, the Netherlands and the winner of track D of the dams (Georgia, Belarus, North Macedonia or Kosovo) or Romania, as the host country of this group, if it qualifies by way A with Iceland, Bulgaria and Hungary.

England had already announced friendly matches for March against Denmark at Wembley on March 31. Four days earlier, England will also play a preparation match against an opponent that remains to be determined.
