A Yemeni citizen and a girl were injured in a mine explosion planted by Iranian-backed Houthi militias in the provinces of Hodeidah and Al-Dhale'e, while the Masam project cleared a main road linking two districts in Marib, 18 kilometers away.

In detail, a Yemeni citizen was injured by an individual mine planted by Houthi militias in his house in al-Masna area east of Hodeidah city on the west coast of Yemen.

A medical source said that the mine exploded, Tawfiq Mohammed Abdullah Jalajil, while he was returning to his house, and led to tearing his feet, and was transferred to Al-Durahami hospital for treatment.

A girl was seriously injured when a landmine planted by Houthi militias exploded in al-Jabha village in Maris area, north of al-Dhali governorate in southern Yemen. Local sources said that the mine exploded as the girl (sit-Saleh, 17) passed in Wadi al-Lajam, east of the village. Left, right foot is damaged.

The 15-team engineering team of the Masam project continued its demining mission, and the team leader, Lieutenant Colonel Salim al-Oqaili, said that the team is currently working in field 14 in the massacre directorate of Marib governorate.

He added that the area of ​​the field is estimated at 30 thousand square meters, and is classified as one of the areas most affected by mines, where it passes through sub-roads linking a number of residential areas, pointing out that the team was able to clear a main road length of 18 kilometers, linking the directorates of the creator and the massacre of Mine.
