The ministry says that Russia "can receive remote access to all communication channels and servers in Russian networks."

In July, Schumer, in a letter to the heads of the FBI and the Federal Trade Commission, warned of a threat to the national security of FaceApp’s Russian photo application.

Konstantin Blokhin, an expert at the Center for Security Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, commented on this statement by Sumer in an interview with RT.
