According to the law, “in order to protect the life and health of citizens ... it is allowed to prevent the presence of unmanned aircraft in the airspace” by “suppressing or converting remote control signals”, affecting their control points, as well as damaging and destroying drones.

These powers are assigned to employees of five departments - the FSO, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the FSB.

Previously, the law was approved by the Federation Council.
