People were held in apartment under knife threat: "Managed to call a friend"

It was at 17 that police received a message from a person stating that his friend had been locked up and threatened with a knife. When the police were on the scene, they also found a 35-year-old man who was arrested.

- We do not yet know how long the man has been held in custody, but he is unharmed, says Tobias Ahlén.

According to police, the 35-year-old man resisted arrest, which led to the police spraying the man with pepper spray and using handcuffs.

The landowner is undamaged and has not had to seek medical care, according to police. Hearing will be held during the evening.

The 35-year-old man is now suspected of home peace crimes, illegal detention, illegal threats, minor drug crimes of his own use and possession.
