Lebanese President General Michel Aoun said yesterday that the popular movement came to break the protectorates and red lines, while protests in Lebanon entered its 47th day.

President Aoun promised that the next phase will witness the satisfaction of all Lebanese.

President Aoun made the remarks during a meeting with Baalda President of the Bar Association in Beirut, Melhem Khalaf.

"We all want reform, despite obstacles to the course of events," he said.

`` We are not only confronting the corrupt people who were in the government or who were in it because it is commonplace, but we are confronted with the protection of society for them, '' Aoun said. "We want the people to resist with us."

Aoun touched on «the issue of freedoms in Lebanon, he considered that it reached the point of chaos».

A student march was launched yesterday afternoon in the town of Bebnine in northern Lebanon, where students called for "the continuing protests and the closure of schools."

A number of protesters in Tire (south Lebanon) organized a protest before yesterday afternoon in front of the branch of the Central Bank of Lebanon, amid the heavy deployment of the army and security forces.

In the city of Zahle (eastern Lebanon), demonstrators protested before noon yesterday in front of the Banque du Liban building and prevented employees from entering the building.

In the capital Beirut, a number of protesters entered the Palace of Justice, to demand the independence of the judiciary and open all files of corruption.
