On December 1, in the Sretensky district of Transbaikalia, a bus in which, according to the Ministry of Emergencies, there were 44 people, fell from a bridge into the Kuenga River. According to the traffic police, the cause of the accident was a broken wheel.

As a result of the accident, 19 people were killed, another 19 were hospitalized.

A case was initiated under the article “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, which entailed the death of two or more persons through negligence.”
