Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said that the Gulf summit will be held in Riyadh on the 10th of this month, stressing that the Riyadh summit will be a very important station for Gulf reconciliation.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the level of representation at the next summit has not been determined, but the quorum will be complete in the presence of delegations from all GCC member states.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled said that the Amir's efforts made some small steps in the Gulf reconciliation, most notably the Gulf Cup in Qatar.

The GCC, in a statement on its website, announced that the meeting will be held in Riyadh on December 10 under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, preceded by a ministerial preparatory meeting.

The statement added that the summit will examine regional and international political developments, the security situation in the region and their repercussions on the security and stability of the GCC states.

Council Secretary-General Abdellatif Ziani expressed his confidence that the Summit will come up with constructive decisions that will strengthen and deepen the coherence, cooperation and integration among the Member States and consolidate its foundations.
