The accident happened on Missionsgatan in Vetlanda at 16.40 on Saturday afternoon. The motorist should have driven the 86-year-old man from behind. He survived only one scraping wound in his forehead, according to police.

Still on Sunday morning, police have failed to arrest anyone suspected of the accident.
