- We gather to be together, and to show our support to the relatives, says Anders Forsberg, Operations Manager from Missing People.

A fighting stream of people arrives at the square.

- There are around 250 people on site. There is a calm, quiet and dignified atmosphere in the square. Everyone puts their roses and candles at the statue in the square. It's hard not to be caught by the mood, says SVT's reporter at the scene Helena Jönsson.

Big commitment

In two weeks, about 5000 volunteers gathered in the search for the girl.

- It's not a unique figure in itself, but people have been very involved in this, says Anders Forsberg.

The voluntary efforts have been organized by Missing people and FIKK who also arrange the memorial time at Kungstorget in Uddevalla.

According to relatives, the girl disappeared on November 14, and was reported missing to the police on November 17. On the same day, police launched an effort to find the 17-year-old.

On Friday, November 29, police announced that they had made a finding that the girl was dead.
