Many dream of a white, sparkling and bright first advent. In some parts of the country, it gets pretty idyllic - at the same time it gets a lot grumpier elsewhere.

Common to the six northernmost counties is that everyone gets a white first advent. The snow days of the last few days will remain on the slope as the cold and minus degrees hold.

The weekend starts with clear and beautiful weather on Saturday, with a minus degree in most places. But Sunday is expected to be quite horrible, especially in the mountain range where warnings are waiting.

If you had a choice, where would you prefer to be on the first advent? To get it as idyllic as possible in the weather?

- Then I would probably choose Västernorrland and maybe Jämtland. There I would be on Sunday.

- Here there will be some sun, especially in the northern and eastern parts of Jämtland County. In the mountains, there are still snow villages that pull in from the west.

Locally there may be some snow in Härjedalen and Härjedalsfjällen, there will be some more clouds in the mountain chain and fresh winds. So a bit windy with snow showers, but partly sunny in the east. The temperature will be between 3-10 minus degrees, says Diana Savina.

- Here it will be sunny, but remember that it is about the November sun, which is only visible for a short time. The temperature is expected to be between 2 and 6 minus degrees. It gets a bit windy, sometimes it can blow fresh western winds. That means it will feel colder than it is, we will have a cooling effect from the wind, says Diana Savina.

- There will be a lot of clear weather on the coast and loaded, but windy throughout the area. There will be healthy winds overall. In the mountain chain, strong winds are expected in combination with snow showers and there is a risk that a weather warning will be issued. The temperature is expected to be between 3 and 10 minus degrees, says Diana Savina.

- Here it gets windy in the mountains and also snow villages. There is a risk that there will be a warning in the Lapland Mountains. In Norrbotten there can be snow villages even along the coast on Advent night and even a little east of the mountains. Overall, it gets windy, says Diana Savina.
