No Italian mountaineer was killed by the avalanche which broke off this morning at about 5,300 meters in the Hindu Raj mountains in the Ishkoman Valley in the Ghizar area of ​​Pakistan.

The Italian embassy in Pakistan, which immediately activated, received the news that one of the three Pakistanis who were part of the expedition along with four Italians died. The expedition leader, Tarcisio Bello, would have been injured in the incident. The other Italian mountaineers involved in the climb are David Bergamin, Luca Morellato and Tino Toldo

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, at 5,300 meters. The Pakistani army is organizing a rescue mission but it will not start until tomorrow due to weather conditions and the distance from the base of the accident.
