A number of people were injured in a knife attack near the famous London Bridge downtown, British police said, and announced that it had killed the attacker, and it was classified as "terrorist act".
Security forces deployed in central London quickly after receiving a report of the attack, cordoned off places near the London Bridge and evacuated pedestrians. Police said the bomber was wearing a fake explosive vest.
A video on Twitter showed what appeared to be three policemen moving cautiously away from a man lying on the sidewalk. Two of them appeared to aim a rifle at the man who showed little movement.
Police said they had received a report of an appeal in an area near the London Bridge at 13:58 GMT.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was updated on what happened in the area of ââthe London Bridge.
