JERUSALEM (Reuters) - American Jewish journalist Shalomi Ziants met in Dubai with billionaire Khalaf Al Habtoor and interviewed him for the weekly magazine "Ami Magazine", a spokeswoman for the Jewish community in the United States.
Al-Habtoor called on Gulf states to normalize relations with Israel and to publicly express their desire to establish relations with Israel, the foreign ministry website said.
He stressed that Arabs and Jews are cousins and that it is stupid to fight, adding that he wants the UAE's relations with Israel to be open and that each of them can benefit politically and economically from those relations.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry's "Arabic in Arabic" page, published on Twitter, posted photos of a Jewish journalist who interviewed the UAE businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor.
