Beginning on December 2, the Swedish Employment Service will move customer service operations into the service center of the State Service Center in several locations in the country, including in Motala, which the newspaper MVT was the first to report.

The background is that the Swedish Employment Service and the National Service Center have started a collaboration with the aim that job seekers and employers should have the opportunity to go to a service office to get help with the Employment Service's digital services.

- That means no major changes. The customer will receive the same service, but will instead meet the whole because the other authorities will be under the same roof, says Pernilla Sandell, who is the unit manager for job seekers in southern Östergötland at the Employment Service.

The idea is for the scheme to be implemented throughout the country by 2020. Motala is thus a pilot for the project for three months.

- This will be exciting to follow, says Pernilla Sandell.
