Earlier, Putin himself said that he planned to visit Israel in January 2020 on the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Day and the opening of the monument in memory of the victims of World War II and the siege of Leningrad in particular.
Putin also said that almost 1.5 million Israeli citizens come from the former Soviet Union, and Israel is an almost Russian-speaking country.
