In Donetsk, the Rostov region, an accident occurred, one of the participants of which, presumably, was the head of the city, the chairman of the city council, Yuri Tarasenko.
At about 2 a.m. on November 28, a Kia Optima sedan drove into the Nissan Terrano Tarasenko service car. The clash was not strong, as a result no one was hurt. However, the further behavior of the mayor raised questions from eyewitnesses.
According to the second participant in the accident, Sergey Fedotov, Tarasenko flatly refused to wait for the traffic police to issue an accident, and tried to leave. Fedotov claims that he tried to prevent the chairman of the City Duma, and he rolled a man on the hood of his car for about 50 meters.
After that, Tarasenko tried to leave the scene already on foot, but this time he was stopped, now not only Fedotov, but also several eyewitnesses. The videos they made got into the media, which suggested that the head of Donetsk was drunk
Entrepreneur Sergei Fedotov told RT about the night incident.
“I was traveling with a friend, Nissan was driving a decent distance ahead. Gradually, the distance was reduced. When approaching the intersection, the speed was already quite small, and at that moment he suddenly suddenly very sharply slowed down. I also braked, but there was a puddle due to rain, and the car reached the bottom of it, there was a slight touch of the bumpers. I went out, walked over, apologized, said: "Let's call the traffic police." And he immediately sharply: “What the hell are you doing? You will still regret it. ” After that, he gets in the car and wants to leave. I understand that now I’ll immediately find myself guilty, and began to insist on calling the traffic police, so that they could figure out who had provoked the accident, ”said Fedotov.
However, instead, Tarasenko, according to Fedotov, shot down a man. “I grab the hood, it’s not very long, and so he drove me about 50 meters, wagging to dump. Then he nevertheless stopped, got out of the car and tried to leave on foot, but there already I and the eyewitnesses chased him. He generally claimed that he was not driving, that he hadn’t encountered anyone, that he was walking from work, that’s all on video, ”Fedotov said.
In the video, Tarasenko is extremely reluctant to answer questions from witnesses and Fedotov, while, indeed, arguing that he was not at all driving that car that evening.
Witnesses also obtained a video from a surveillance camera, where the incident with a collision with Fedotov is clearly visible - the businessman was really taken on a Nissan Terrano hood.
The businessman also told how the trial at the scene, which did not appear on the video, ended - the police who arrived at the scene demanded that the video be stopped.

“In relation to Tarasenko, a protocol was drawn up on the refusal of a medical examination, he generally refused to give any explanations, referring to Article 51 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. In the report, the police wrote that he had all the signs of intoxication, in particular, the strong smell of alcohol. The fact that he was drunk was obvious, all the witnesses saw it. They also compiled a protocol for running over a pedestrian, and according to the collision itself, officially there was no paper that he was to blame, it’s still being considered there, ”said Fedotov.
At the same time, the police, according to Fedotov, did not draw up a protocol on leaving the scene of an accident. The motorist expects to prosecute Tarasenko.
“If I fell under the wheels, he would just have moved me. I have three children, who would feed them later? I want him to respond. Moreover, he constantly drives drunk in his company car, this is no secret to anyone in the city, ”says Fedotov.
RT also spoke with witnesses who were present at the scene of the incident. They fully confirmed the story of Fedotov.
In the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the reaction was rather restrained.
“November 28 at 01:50 in the area of the house 28 on Korolev Street in the city of Donetsk, a collision of Kia Optima and Nissan Terrano cars occurred. An audit is being carried out on this fact, ”the press service of the department said.
A RT source in the region’s law enforcement agencies confirmed that Tarasenko refused a medical certificate for intoxication and was brought to administrative responsibility for this: he faces a fine of 30 thousand rubles and deprivation of rights for a period of one and a half to two years.
“The incident itself can be conditionally divided into two separate episodes. The first is the collision of two cars, everything was executed there, protocols were drawn up, the culprit was established. The second episode is when, after the accident, there was a collision with the accident participant. A statement was received from him on the last fact, an audit is being carried out on him now, ”the source said.
RT failed to contact Yuri Tarasenko himself; no one answered calls on his work number.

The press service of the governor of the region, at the request of RT to comment on the incident, was advised to contact the press service of the regional government. There, they learned about the incident with Tarasenko from a RT correspondent. “You are probably not at the right place. I can’t help you with anything, ”said Yevgeny Tkachev, deputy head of the information policy department.
But the incident was not left unattended in the regional branch of "United Russia", in which Tarasenko is a member.
“The Rostov regional branch of the United Russia party is studying all the circumstances of what happened to the deputy of the Donetsk City Duma, Yuri Tarasenko. In the near future, on the basis of objective facts, the general meeting of the party’s primary branch in Donetsk will consider the question of its further membership in United Russia, the organization’s press service said.
