  • Interior: Police and Civil Guard in Galicia look for the third occupant of the escaped narcosubmarine

The sunken narcosubmarine last Sunday in the Ría de Aldán (Cangas) has been refloated in the last hours by teams of specialists from the Civil Guard and Customs Surveillance Service and hoisted up to the port, where agents have been able to access inside .

Once out of the water, it has been found that, in fact, it measures 20 meters in length and inside there is a quantity of drugs that could exceed one hundred million euros in the black market.

For the transfer of the submarine, a gondola truck waited late last night next to the port of Aldán, where two huge cranes moved to lift it.

All this after mid-afternoon the submarine went down when it was about to be climbed by the port ramp, taking advantage of the high tide and with the help of two fishing boats.

The harnesses were released frustrating the operation, which had begun unsuccessfully the night before, when after failing to refloat it they decided to drag it to a mile from the port of Aldán and restart operations the next day.

The police will now try to link the stash with some "powerful" organization of drug traffickers, according to Efe sources of the investigation, who suspect no more than three, which have the economic and logistical capacity to charter a device of these characteristics, whose Value can be more than two million euros.
