“If they have such a desire (lifting the ban), they will be able to do it themselves. From a technical point of view, the Georgian side has no problems regarding the resumption of flights, ”TASS quoted him.

He added that Georgia, in general, welcomes the lifting of the ban on air travel.

In October, the head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Mariam Kvrivishvili, said that in July and August, the Georgian side lost $ 113 million as a result of the introduction of a temporary ban on flights from Russia.

On July 8, a decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on a temporary ban on air travel with Georgia entered into force.
