The Higher Committee for the Elections of the Sharjah Consultative Council has approved the preliminary list of the winners of the membership of the Council after the end of the voting phase on November 24, followed by the scheduled duration of appeals for two days.

The Supreme Committee for the Elections of the Sharjah Consultative Council extended its congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, The members of the Council were selected from the Emirate of Sharjah to participate in decision-making and to represent the sons and daughters of the Emirate.

During the appeals period, the Committee received only one appeal, the content of which was rejected because it was not based on convincing evidence after the request was formally accepted.

The percentage of participation in the elections of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah reached 59.4%, while 26,600 voters out of the total number of members of the electoral bodies of 44,758 citizens.

Women in the emirate of Sharjah won three seats by voting for the council for the city of Sharjah, Al-Bataeh and Al-Hamriya and received 608 votes.

The membership of the Sharjah Advisory Council for the winning members is distributed as follows: Nine seats for Sharjah City, while three seats are allocated to Al Dhaid, Khorfakkan, Kalba, two seats each for Dibba Al Hisn and Al Madam, and one for Hamriyah, Al Bataeh and Maliha.
