Pope Francis on his way home November 26, 11:52

Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church, who was visiting Japan, left Haneda Airport and returned to the Vatican before noon today. This is the first visit to Japan in 38 years as a Pope in Rome. While visiting Nagasaki and Hiroshima in the bombed areas and calling for action toward a world free of nuclear weapons, he sent a strong message and impressed with his friendly personality.

Pope Francis, who had been visiting Japan, was departed by a Bishop of the Catholic Church of Japan at Haneda Airport on the 26th day before boarding a special plane and returning to the Vatican.

During the four-day visit, he visited Nagasaki and Hiroshima in the bombed areas and gave a speech. While nuclear disarmament was stagnating globally, he reiterated that not only using nuclear weapons but also possessing them was ethical. Called for concrete action towards a world that was n’t there.

At meetings with young people, we sent out powerful messages on various themes, such as telling them that they had to have the courage to raise their voice as well as adults and schools to prevent bullying.

On the other hand, during the stay, I approached the survivors and hugged their shoulders, and during the meetings with the young people, joking and asking participants were impressed.

Pope Francisco will have a press conference with the reporters on his way home, and he will look back on what the Pope felt during his visit to Japan.
