26 November 2019A magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit Albania in the night. According to data from the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology and from the USGS US Geological Survey, the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of about 10 km and epicenter between Shijak and Durres. The quake was felt until the capital Tirana, where people took to the streets in a panic. No information is yet available on any victims or damages. The quake was also clearly felt in Puglia and Basilicata.
