November 25, 2019 Uber will no longer be able to operate in London: the municipal authorities of the British capital have indeed announced that they have denied the renewal of the license to the American giant of online taxis by evoking "violations" of the rules that put passengers and their safety at risk.

The company will appeal and can remain active until it is examined. Transport for London (TFL), the municipal transport agency, had already suspended Uber in 2017, but then granted two extensions, the last one expired yesterday.
