Lyudmila Verbitskaya will be buried in the Northern cemetery of St. Petersburg

As noted, the funeral service will begin at 10:00 Moscow time in the building of the Twelve Colleges of St. Petersburg State University.

Verbitskaya will be buried in the church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God, and they will bury her in the Northern Cemetery.

Earlier in the Kremlin, they said that the death of Verbitskaya was a great loss for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the Russian Academy of Education, her death was called an irreplaceable loss, Channel Five reported.

Verbitskaya died on November 24 at the 84th year of her life. Soviet and Russian linguist-Russian scholar, professor of St. Petersburg State University, she became its rector in 1994, and then president.
