The South Korean government will hold a special summit meeting with 10 ASEAN countries from the 25th. As the domestic economy slows down, South Korea wants to strengthen its relationship with ASEAN, the second largest trade in China.

Meanwhile, early this month, President Moon sent a letter to North Korea ’s chairman Kim Jong-un, the Korean Labor Party Chairman, to help expand international support for North-South efforts to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula. He requested to attend a special summit.
