“Such actions hurt the feelings of 1.3 billion Muslims around the world,” the Pakistani Foreign Ministry’s website said in a statement.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry clarified that such actions cannot be justified by freedom of expression.

The ministry also said it called on the Norwegian authorities to hold the perpetrators accountable and prevent the recurrence of such cases.

On May 24, one person was killed in a bomb in a mosque in the Pakistani city of Quetta.
