It is noted that Zelensky congratulated Trudeau on the victory of the Liberal Party of Canada in the parliamentary elections, thanked him for maintaining anti-Russian sanctions and expressed hope for the gradual liberalization by the Canadian side of the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens.
Trudeau, in turn, praised the ongoing reforms in Ukraine and promised to provide active assistance to Kiev in this direction.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine had a telephone conversation with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
