Lyon won at the expense of Nice (2-1) a valuable success if not conclusive that allows the OL to temporarily include the Top 5, Saturday at Parc OL, after a rather mediocre match of the 14th day of Ligue 1.

After losing to Marseille (2-1), November 10, just before the international truce, this success at least gives the Rhone club in good moral arrangements before defying the Zenit St. Petersburg, Wednesday in Russia, for a meeting Champions League capital.

For its part, Nice, which scuttled in the first period, remains stuck in the second half of the rankings, 14th in two lengths of Lyon (17 points).

Before being reduced to ten after the exclusion of Fernando Marçal for a poorly controlled gesture on Hicham Boudaoui (34th), OL, deprived of his master to play Memphis Depay and Houssem Aouar, injured, took the advantage taking advantage of the clumsiness of Nice.

Jeff Reine-Adelaïde, who started the action after a stint with Martin Terrier, benefited from Dante's unintentional help to open the scoring in the 11th minute before being replaced, collateral victim of the red card inflicted on Marçal (34th).

Since arriving in Lyon in August, Queen Adelaide has not played any match in full with her new team.

Moussa Dembélé raised the score to 2-0 by converting a penalty awarded for a foul committed on himself by Christophe Herelle after a missed pass by Stanley Nsoki for Dante (27). This is the tenth goal of Dembélé in thirteen league games this season.

Despite its advantage to the mark, OL did not have a hold on the meeting, because it was not technically safe enough.

But the Aiglons, also displaying a significant technical waste, could not take advantage of their numerical superiority to really weigh on the Lyon defense, except in the last half hour.

The Nice team can however regret a goal denied to Kasper Dolberg for an offside game far from obvious even after viewing the video assistance (49th), an important decision that could have changed the face of the second period if it had been reversed.

The Dane, however, managed to reduce the mark by taking a center delivered from the right wing by Patrick Burner (78th), who was also excluded at the end of the game for a second warning (86th).

And for its part, Lyon has not had the necessary control to add a third goal while he had the opportunity, including two attempts by Bertrand Traore, one diverted by the back of Dembélé (57) and the other out of the frame despite a good position (68).
