November 23, 2019 Flamengo wins the 60th edition of the Libertadores Cup, the most important South American competition for club teams.

In the final held at the 'Monumental' stadium in Lima, the Brazilians set themselves in a comeback in the final minutes on the Argentines of River Plate by 2-1, thanks to the brace of Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa in the 89th and 92nd which comeback the network by Rafael Santos Borré on the 14th.

It is the second title for the quadra of Rio, after that of 81, while the River has raised the cup four times (1986, 1996, 2015 and 2018).

It is the first time that the final is played in a single game, while in the previous editions the title was assigned with a round-trip match.
