As of November 20, you who are over 16 years old and registered in Knivsta can participate in the municipality's new venture where you want to try new ways to gain knowledge, opinions and new perspectives. The goal is for residents of different backgrounds to have an opportunity to participate in the municipal social debate.

- There are people who are capable of being heard in social media or in meetings. We want more voices to come in from different groups, as it is important that all Knivstabs make themselves heard, says Peter Evansson (S), chairman of the municipal council in Knivsta.

The views expressed in the Citizens' Council will not be decisive but advisory.

Want to attract young people to participate

It is hoped to attract several different types of target groups in society to participate in the initiative, and one of them is young people over the age of 16. Therefore, an attempt has been made to adapt the text and the survey to make it interesting and easily understood.

- Politics and we in the administration think that this is about Knivsta's future, and then we also want to invite those who are a little younger, says Hanne Natt och Dag, Head of Communications at Knivsta Municipality.
