“We express our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the victims,” the agency quoted Kenya's Interior Minister Fed Matiangi as saying.

It is noted that 29 people died as a result of landslides in Kenya, in Tanzania ten people drowned in the river.

In March, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies reported that the second largest city of Mozambique, Beira and its suburbs were 90% destroyed by the cyclone “Idai”.

It was noted that, according to representatives of the Red Cross, about 150 people died from the cyclone in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
