The PSOE and ERC have agreed the negotiating teams that in the coming weeks should explore whether an abstention of the 13 Republican deputies in Congress that facilitates the investiture of Pedro Sánchez is possible.

Yesterday Thursday, the vice secretary general of the PSOE, Adriana Lastra, and the spokesman for ERC in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, met to address the issue, as Nacio Digital has advanced and Republican sources have been confirmed to Efe.

On the part of ERC, according to the sources consulted, Rufián will be part of the team that will assume the talks on the investiture, as well as the spokeswoman and deputy general secretary of the party, Marta Vilalta, and the president of the national consell of the republicans, Josep Maria Jové

On the part of the socialists will be, according to the same sources, Lastra, the secretary of organization of the PSC, Salvador Illa, as well as a third voice, which could be the Minister of Development and secretary of organization of the PSOE, José Luis Ábalos, or the Vice President of the Government, Carmen Calvo.

This Monday, the ERC militancy will be able to pronounce electronically in an internal consultation on the investiture of Sánchez.

Specifically, the ERC bases must answer the question: "Do you agree to reject the investiture of Pedro Sánchez if there is previously no agreement to address the political conflict with the State through a negotiating table?"

The spokeswoman for the Acting Executive, Isabel Celaá, did not want to pronounce on Friday, at the press conference after the Council of Ministers, about the condition that ERC presents to facilitate the investiture and that it has included in its consultation the militancy: negotiating table on Catalonia.

In this regard, Celaá has only wanted to point out that he has always maintained the possibility, "and has also exercised it", that there be "dialogue within the Constitution and within the law".
