"Today at the Kapustin Yar training ground, a solemn ceremony will be held to deliver the brigade kit of the Iskander operational-tactical missile system to the personnel of the Western Military District missile compound," the Russian Defense Ministry press service reported to RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the transfer of this kit completes the rearmament of the existing missile formations of the Ground Forces.
In September, it was reported that the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex missiles in the Orenburg Region successfully launched a missile during the Center-2019 exercises.
