It was at the end of August 2015 when a woman was on her way home from a tavern in Strängnäs that she was assaulted and raped on two different occasions.

Two men were then sentenced to five years in prison and deportation, respectively, two years and six months in prison and deportation for gross rape. A third man then appeared in the investigation but the police had no suspect.

Now a third man has been arrested and wanted to be arrested.

The suspected man the man, who is a resident of Nybro municipality, was recently arrested for drunk driving and his DNA matched traces from the crime scene of the double rape, something Eskilstuna-Kuriren was the first to tell.

He is expected to be arrested for probable cause for serious rape.
