"Simon" means he was forced to act as a goalkeeper and pick out money from an ATM. Afterwards, he chose not to tell what happened to neither the police nor his parents.

- A fear began to build up within me. Maybe he would beat me up or worse.

Called in for questioning

Half a year after the incident, “Simon” was called in for questioning. He was later convicted of money laundering.

- Because I did not contact the police or tell about the incident before, my story seemed unbelievable. The big penalty is that I will have this with me for the rest of my life.

Dare not report to police

"Simon" did not dare to tell his parents or report to the police and this is something that the police often see.

- If you have been threatened, you may not dare to report the police and then you may not have confidence in the police. But it can also be that you do not understand that you have committed a crime, says Lotta Mauritzson at the National Fraud Center, to Week's crime.
