- There are 22 who are connected to us and about 20 officials. It is of course very boring but not very shocking as they have known about the situation for a long time. This is unfortunately the case when profitability has not started, says Micael Nilsson, Ombudsman at IF Metall in Halland.

Tata Steel Building Systems was built five years ago and during that time has manufactured, among other things, corrugated sheet metal and construction sheet. Initially, the owners must have put in some money to get the plant to stand on their own - something that according to Micael Nilsson never became a reality.

Sold to Norway

- A week ago, the negotiations ended. The layoffs have begun, but no one is going home until the fifth of March because it is four months' notice, says Micael Nilsson.

Some of the machines used in the factory may be sold to Norway.
