Putin plans to come to Israel in January

It is reported by RIA Novosti. As specified, Putin said this during a meeting with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill and the Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine Theophilus III.

According to the president, interaction with Israel is of serious importance.

“And, thank God, very good relations have been established with the leadership of Israel and with the representatives of the Jews in the Russian Federation, which are, in a sense, a bridge in our interstate relations,” the head of state emphasized.

Putin previously stated that nearly one and a half million Israeli citizens come from the former Soviet Union, and Israel is an almost Russian-speaking country.
