Dubai Municipality has confirmed that it used 60 masquerades and pumps to pull out the rains that the emirate witnessed yesterday, noting that it was fully prepared.

The Chief Executive Officer of Infrastructure Services and Head of Ghaith Dubai Team, Eng. Taleb Julfar, pointed out that the equipment was placed on cars to facilitate the process of drawing rain.

He pointed out that teams faced minor problems, including clogged some of the sinks because of the leaves of trees, and all these problems have been resolved.

He pointed out that the city has 60 pumping stations for rain water, within a network of pipes up to a total length of 1.75 million meters long, interspersed with 28 thousand manholes, and connected to 72 thousand rain water drains.
