In conjunction with the International Day against Violence against Women, the Center for Protection and Social Rehabilitation (AMAN), organized under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Action, organized an interactive forum entitled "Empowering Women". The forum, dedicated to women and girls, focused on how to empower and protect women, in addition to highlighting their role in building society, to give participants new skills, and build their capacities.

The forum dealt with several topics including family roles, raising children, reducing dependence on maids and nannies, good role models, in addition to talking about positive freedom and reducing negative emancipation, talking about women's work, how to reconcile the requirements of home and work requirements, and empowerment against crises facing women health Socially, economically and politically.

AMAN was keen to ensure that the forum was a qualitative interactive, where participants presented different topics and the attendance of girls and women participated in the views and discussion.
