Threatened by threats and a torrent of insults posted on a far-right site, journalist Lyon Hainaut Julie faces Tuesday one of his alleged harassers in court while the head of this site is on the run .

On 12 September 2017, an article by the journalist of the "Petit bulletin" recounts an evening spent in a cocktail bar in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon where the managers are standing in front of her apologizing for colonization.

The publication of this article triggers the anger of the authors of the racist and anti-Semitic website "Participatory democracy", now banned, who pour out bursts of insults against the journalist such as "pathological negrophile", "prostitute", "hysterical female "," stinking hyena ", and others even more violent.

In the process, it is the target of many attacks on social networks and receives several threatening emails, including one indicating that some were looking for his home. In March 2018, she assured the police that she had been followed by people who were waiting outside her home.

For two years, Julie Hainaut has filed no less than five complaints and tried to convict those responsible for this site hosted in the United States, but without success.

The alleged site administrator, an ultra-nationalist blogger, was last located in Japan and remains wanted for previous default convictions, including for provoking racial hatred and anti-Semitism.

After a survey of a little over a year, only a surfer who has shared on Facebook article aimed at Julie Hainaut, and whose style is similar to offensive articles published on Participatory Democracy, is judged Tuesday ahead the Lyon Criminal Court for racist and sexist "public insult".

The NGO Reporters Without Borders (RSF), which also filed a civil suit at the trial, believes that this individual "must be held responsible for what he has said," but regrets that "the initiator of this campaign, a well-known individual of the + fachosphere + (...) has (never) been worried ".

"Although already condemned several times by the French justice system especially for incitement to racial hatred, the subject of a sheet S and a red notice of Interpol, no request for judicial cooperation was addressed to Tokyo ", laments RSF.
