He explained that the storage pit will be constructed in accordance with the highest safety standards, where it was chosen in the mouth of Wadi Negev, starting from the descent of rainwater and runoff to Wadi Negev and Wadi Al-Helou, and continued that the goal of the establishment of the storage hole to collect the water of the valley that comes from Wadi Al-Helu, before arrival To the valleys Valley and surrounding residential areas.

He added that in case of rain at the present time on the area of Al-Fahalin and lead to the flow of Wadi Naqab, it is expected that the crater will absorb the rain water without the Saqr Park and Al-Fahalin area being drowned, as happened in the past years, as the crater is ready to collect part of the rain water during the stage. First of implementation.

He pointed out that the storage pit helps in reducing the amount of rain going to the Negev Valley, but in the event of heavy and continuous rainfall will not prevent the flooding of the Negev Valley if the amounts of water over capacity.

He added that the storage pit in Wadi Naqab will be similar to the storage pit that was created years ago on Wadi al-Bayh road, pointing out that the storage pit in Wadi Naqab is being constructed in a broken tendency, so that it is easy for anyone to enter and exit it safely without offering After the project is fully completed, the Foundation intends to set up barriers around the storage pit to avoid the fall of anyone and to ensure the highest standards of prevention and public safety.
