In the afternoon, the prime ministers of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Medvedev and Sergey Rumas held a short bilateral meeting, after which the negotiations continued in an expanded format.

Medvedev noted that the discussion of proposals for the further development of cooperation between Russia and Belarus will be held both in the format of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, and during consultations of representatives of delegations of the two countries.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow and Minsk are like-minded in almost all key issues.
