For Natali Sundkvist, it all began with her illness in flu in January 2014. When she did not recover, she sought help and became sick for exhaustion. Only several years later, after Natali received a referral for an ME investigation in Linköping, she was finally diagnosed with ME in September 2017.

- It is a serious illness because very few people understand it and many if not even know about it. What is most difficult is that even the doctors do not understand it, she says.

"Incredible many who do not get help"

Today there is no specialist care to get north of Stockholm. Last fall, the Västerbotten region decided to redistribute resources to be able to offer specialist care, plans that have now been put on ice.

But Natali hopes that the name-gathering will make the politicians think.

- An ME reception is really needed here, because there are so many people who do not get help. So I really hope that it helps and that we reach out, says Natali.
