The last zones in yellow in the southwest, west-central and south-central, as well as the capital Ouagadougou, turn orange. They are now considered as " unadvised areas except for imperative reasons ".
In red: the border of Mali, Niger, Benin and Togo, the Sahel, North and East regions.
This new risk assessment map illustrates the security degradation in the country. " This phenomenon has been growing since the beginning of the year," says the Quai d'Orsay on its website , now affecting a large part of the territory. "
