A 119-year-old Kuwaiti woman has become the world's oldest person after the death of Russian-born Pesimbieva, the world's oldest person, last October, data from the General Authority for Civil Information (GACI) and the Guinness Book of World Records confirmed on Saturday. At the age of 124 years.

The Guinness Book of World Records earlier reported that the title of the world's oldest person moved after the death of Russian Downloads Besimbieva to Japanese Kanye Tanaka, aged 116 years, 10 months and 15 days, but Kuwaiti official civil authorities refuted these data and confirmed that the title belongs to Kuwaiti national.

The General Authority for Civil Information of Kuwait did not name the Kuwaiti perennial that is not registered in the world record.

Tanaka, born on 2 January 1903, lives in Fukayama.
