The diplomat noted that such situations arise constantly and are resolved in a working order without reports to the IAEA Board of Governors.

“As a last resort, inconsistencies are noted in the annual safeguards report,” he added.

The IAEA previously published a new report on Tehran’s nuclear program, which indicated the discovery of uranium at one of Iran’s undeclared facilities.
