The ONF proposed reducing the time for ending the sale of alcohol at the federal level to 22:00.
The current law allows you to trade in alcohol from 8:00 to 23:00 local time, while subjects of the federation can tighten these requirements at their discretion.
The ONF noted that this initiative is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Demography".
According to ONF, the Ministry of Health approved this initiative and the proposal is currently being discussed in parliament.
Earlier it was reported that the time for the sale of alcohol in Kaliningrad stores will be reduced by two hours.
The FAN also reported that Russia ranked seventh in the ranking of countries with the highest alcohol consumption per capita.
